Garcin lab publishes new findings on guanylate cyclase

March 21, 2014 2:49 PM
Dr. Elsa Garcin lab has published exciting new findings on guanylate cyclase activity in two recent papers in the Journals "Biochemistry" and "Frontiers in Physiology".

Seeger F, Quintyn R, Tanimoto A, Williams GJ, Tainer JA, Wysocki VH, Garcin ED. “Interfacial residues promote an
optimal alignment of the catalytic center in human soluble guanylate
cyclase: heterodimerization is required but not sufficient for activity”
Biochemistry [epub ahead online] March 14 2014.

Rogers NM, Seeger F, Garcin ED, Roberts DD, Isenberg JS. “Regulation
of soluble guanylate cyclase by matricellular thrombospondins:
implications for blood flow” Frontiers in Physiology 5(134), [epub ahead
online] March 18 2014

Congratulations to all involved in this exciting work!
